How to setup a network in a XP-environment:

  • Click the  "Start" -"Control Panel", to open the "Controlpanel".
  • Double-click  "Network and Internet Connection" icon     
  • Click  "Network Connection.
  • Right click  "Local Area Connection" icon, in the menu choose Properties, to open the "Local Area Connection Properties" dialog box.
  • Select the  "Internet Protocol (TCP)"  on the list,
  • and then click Propertiesbutton, to open "Internet Protocol (TCP) Properties" dialog box
  • Completing IP address Subnet mask, and Default gateway or obtainan IP address use DHCP
  • Completing DNS server, or obtain DNS by DHCP click OK button, save the configuration.
     

     How to connect to a network in a Linux-environment:

  • Only for the first time  before starting the Thin Client unplug the networkplug.
