How to setup a network in a XP-environment:

Click the "Start" -"Control Panel", to open the "Controlpanel".

Double-click "Network and Internet Connection" icon

Click "Network Connection.

Right click "Local Area Connection" icon, in the menu choose Properties, to open the "Local Area Connection Properties" dialog box.

Select the "Internet Protocol (TCP)" on the list,

and then click Propertiesbutton, to open "Internet Protocol (TCP) Properties" dialog box

Completing IP address Subnet mask, and Default gateway or obtainan IP address use DHCP

Completing DNS server, or obtain DNS by DHCP click OK button, save the configuration.

How to connect to a network in a Linux-environment:

Only for the first time before starting the Thin Client unplug the networkplug.
